At Shopkart Apparels we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This Refund & Return Policy explains how to return items, exchange products, and obtain refunds. Please read carefully before placing an order.
1. Returns Window
You may request a return or exchange within 7 days of delivery, unless otherwise specified on the product page. The returned item must be unused, unwashed, with all original tags and packaging intact.
2. Eligible Items
- Garments that are damaged, defective, or incorrect on arrival.
- Items that do not match the product description or images.
- Size exchanges — subject to stock availability.
3. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are non-returnable for hygiene and safety reasons or because they are custom-made:
- Innerwear and hosiery
- Personalised or custom-made products
- Clearance or final sale items (unless defective)
4. How to Request a Return

- Provide your order number, product details, photos showing the issue (if damaged/defective), and preferred resolution (refund or exchange).
- We will review your request and send you a return authorization and instructions (including return address and label if applicable).
- Ship the item back to us within the specified timeframe using a trackable courier. Keep the tracking details until the return is complete.
5. Return Shipping & Fees
- If the return is due to a seller error (wrong/defective item), we will cover the return shipping costs.
- For change-of-mind returns or incorrect sizing (buyer’s remorse), the customer is responsible for return shipping fees unless otherwise stated.
6. Inspection & Refund Processing
Once your return is received, our team will inspect the item. If the return meets our conditions (unused, tags intact), we will process your refund or exchange within 5–7 business days from the date of inspection.
- Refunds for Prepaid Orders: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. For online payments via Pay10 Payment Gateway, refunds are processed through the gateway and may take 5–10 business days to reflect depending on your bank or payment provider.
- Refunds for COD Orders: COD refunds will be issued via bank transfer. Please provide your bank details when requesting the refund.
7. Exchanges
Exchanges are subject to stock availability. If the desired size or color is not available, you may choose a refund instead. We will notify you of any stock issues promptly.
8. Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us immediately with supporting photos and details. We will provide a replacement or full refund, and cover return shipping costs where applicable.
9. Cancellations
Orders can be canceled before they are shipped. If your order has already been dispatched, cancellation requests may not be possible — please follow the return process instead.
10. Partial Refunds
Partial refunds may be issued in cases where items are returned damaged, missing parts, or not in original condition. The amount refunded will reflect the diminished value.
11. Refund Timeline Summary
- Return request response: within 2 business days.
- Return inspection and processing: 5–7 business days after we receive the item.
- Refund posting to your account: depends on payment method (5–10 business days for most banks/gateways).
12. Disputes
If you are not satisfied with our resolution, contact our support team. Unresolved disputes may be escalated to the payment gateway’s dispute resolution or appropriate consumer forum under the laws of India.
